When sellers submit Aadhaar, FSSAI, or Police verification numbers for badge approval:

• •These numbers are reviewed only by Laydemart admin
• •They are never shown publicly or shared with buyers
• •We do not perform independent verification of documents — badges are issued based on seller declaration and admin review
• •Verification data is encrypted and stored securely

• •Product photos uploaded by sellers are stored on Cloudinary CDN and displayed publicly
• •Review photos uploaded by buyers are stored on Cloudinary and displayed on product pages
• •Seller store logos are stored on Cloudinary and displayed publicly
• •You may request deletion of your uploaded photos at any time by contacting support

• •We do not track your GPS location in real-time
• •Sellers voluntarily set a delivery radius (e.g. 5 km) — this is used to inform buyers and is shown publicly on their profile
• •City/area entered during registration is used to help local discovery

Your data is stored securely on our servers (Supabase PostgreSQL). Passwords are bcrypt-hashed and never stored in plain text. Product images are stored on Cloudinary CDN with secure access.

We use browser local storage to store your cart, wishlist, login session, and language preference. No tracking cookies are used. No third-party advertising cookies are placed on your device.

• •You can manage notification preferences in Account → Notification Settings
• •We will never spam you with unsolicited promotions

When you submit a product review (text, rating, or photo), it is displayed publicly on the product page with your first name. Your phone number is never shown.

You may request removal of your review by contacting support.

• •You may request correction of inaccurate data
• •You may request permanent deletion of your account and associated data
• •Order history is retained for 90 days after deletion for legal compliance, then permanently removed

Laydemart is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have accidentally collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000 and Rules made thereunder:

You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time.

• •Order history is retained for 90 days for legal and financial compliance, then permanently removed
• •Product listings are removed immediately
• •Khata/Ledger entries are deleted immediately

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
